I was watching the video in today's post on Dooce, and purely under the influence of the repetition of the word "crayon" (which, by the way, I pronounce "crayen"), when Aaron asked what was for lunch, I told him there were crayon-dogs in the oven.
Leah says, "That's not real, AND it's disgusting."
Noted.

Dooce was featured on Nightline last night http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=4836738&page=1
Gaskell's work (eg Cranfield) was serialized by Charles Dickens. Are blogs the serialized stories of the 21st century?
i do that all the time, but i actually type the wrong words. Dang, both sides of brain!
Also...that dooce video...isn't john dead sexy? i thought he was very geeky before, but my opinion has totally changed. dead. sexy. like crayon dogs.
As to what was really in the oven: was it what we called "toasty dogs" back in the 20th century when I cooked with fire? - a hot dog with cheese and/or catsup (a word for the Dooce "how do you say it video")on a slice of bread folded around the hot dog and held in place with a toothpick while baking in the oven?
No, they were just your run-of-your-mill frozen corn-dogs.
But your version seems yummy!
