Not that I'm bragging or anything...

Leah does love her some workbook time! We just finished the Pre-K book...now it's on to big kid stuff in the Kindergarten version. She especially likes rhyming activities.

Although a while back Aaron observed that he thought that she'd plateaued academically, lately Leah has started really focusing on writing her 123's and ABC's. This is so fun!

Also, overheard while she was playing with buddy L last night:
"Jesus IS NOT still dead!"

Leah with best frenemy M and the matching shirts M made for them...Leah says it's her Sleeping Beauty shirt. Cause IT'S PINK, I guess.

Brag away m'dear! Because certain Aunts gobble up Leah stories like they are frosted cookies. :)

"Leah likes her workbook"...is this how it starts? first workbooks for preschoolers from moms who form book clubs which turn into book cartels which here in our very own Fargo are trying to take control of every copy of Pearl S. Buck's _Imperial Woman_ in community and university libraries in the region. What sort of role models are our children growing up with? Never mind the nine months of pregnancy and then getting up in the middle of the night to comfort someone after a bad dream! etc etc altruistic acts

I'm glad I beat the blizzard back to Fargo to uncover this plot (10:15 PM flight MSP -> FAR was already cancelled by 5:30 tonight). Now to figure out what to do about it. What can one man do against a group of book reading women?...especially when one is my very own wife! I'm out of town for two nights and now civilization hangs in the balance...
